What is Emergency TopUp?
Telkom Emergency TopUp is a service that allows Telkom’s
Prepaid and Hybrid customers immediate access to airtime
and data bundles on credit and can be paid back later with
the next recharge.
To qualify for the Telkom Emergency TopUp Service, you must be:
• A Telkom Prepaid or Hybrid customer.
• Active on the Telkom network for 30 consecutive
days or more.
• You must have recharged your account in the
last 30 days.
• You must Opt-In.
Dial *180# and go to Emergency TopUp.
Bundle TopUp can be used for voice, sms or data and cannot be transferred to friends and loved ones.
Emergency TopUp airtime bundles are available in rand value denominations of your choosing with a minimum recharge of R3.
• Dial *180#.
• Select Emergency TopUp and then Opt-In for
• You can then select the R10 set amount.
Airtime TopUp can be used for voice, SMS or data and can be transferred to friends and loved ones. Bundle purchases cost R1 per TopUp.
