Take matters into your own hands. Telkom’s self-help portal gives you full control of your internet account with a comprehensive range of tools that are quick and easy to use. There’s no need for lengthy calls; you can check your data usage at a glance, manage your password and login details, top up internet and mobile data, and much more.
The Telkom Internet Password Management Tool will enable you to securely change both your Telkom Internet account password and your email passwords online. You can also SMS the word "Password" to 012 321 0215 (standard SMS rates apply). For added security, we recommend that you make these changes on a regular basis.
Manage and track your internet and mobile data (fixed and TI Mobile) usage. The usage tracker instantly shows you how much data you have used in the current month, and how much you have remaining, giving a detailed breakdown of how the data has been used: Night Surfer, Social and Education, and Entertainment.
The usage tracker also provides a data usage history, with detailed graphs showing itemised data usage on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. Graphs can be exported as images or as Excel files.
Telkom offers Night Surfer data between 12am and 7am; free data which is convenient and cost-effective to use for large downloads and surfing, after hours.
Data used to browse social media and educational sites. This is additional free data and does not subtract from your FUP (Fair Usage Policy applicable to all uncapped plans) or SoftCap data allocation.
SoftCap users may buy data bundles to stream their favourite movies, series and music from content providers such as Showmax, Netflix and DStv. Remember: you’ll need to pay a separate subscription fee to the provider of your choice. If you subscribe to Showmax, the payments can be linked to your Telkom account.
